Christopher Kautz Joins Zogics as Chief Operating Officer

Former COO of Level 9 Sports will help power Zogics growth initiatives 

Zogics, experts in surface and air disinfection, personal safety, and efficient facility operations, today announced that Christopher Kautz has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Kautz most recently served as COO of Level 9 Sports, a multi-channel specialty retail business that blends sales from a direct-to-consumer website, third-party marketplaces, and brick-and-mortar stores. Before that, he was Head of Sales Operations at Backcountry, where he managed five sales teams made up of over 250 professionals who generated over $100M in annual sales.  

At Zogics, Kautz will direct all core business functions, streamline operational processes, and work with the CEO to establish and implement the strategic growth vision for the company. Kautz will bring a combination of a strong operations background, pioneering sales history, and successful experience with companies ranging from startups to billion-dollar organizations to his work in ensuring Zogics’ customer success initiatives. Having driven growth strategies globally within several business units at Level 9 Sports, Kautz will also aid in Zogics’ continued growth trajectory.

Kautz has B.A. in political science from Valparaiso University, an M.A. in international relations from Louisiana State University, and worked towards his Ph.D. in Political Philosophy at Arizona State University. He also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and speaks French fluently. He lives in Park City, Utah with his wife, two children, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Yeti. When he's not working you can likely find him on his bike or skis, enjoying life in the mountains.
