Zogics Names New Ecommerce Merchandiser, Formerly At Home Depot

Zogics, a work-from-anywhere company, announced today that it expanded its Ecommerce division in order to help its customers worldwide create and maintain safer and more productive workplaces, naming Zachary Hamilton as Ecommerce Merchandiser.

“We are pleased to announce that Zachary Hamilton has been appointed Ecommerce Merchandiser. His strong vision and deep understanding of merchandising and ecommerce and wealth of experience in his previous position at Home Depot and Home Depot Pro give him the right knowledge of our diverse product lines, as well as the right knowledge to support our growing digital efforts," said Paul LeBlanc, CEO of Zogics.

“I miss being a true merchant and with my experience in janitorial and cleaning supplies as a merchant planner on the Home Depot Pro business I understood who Zogics was, and how they fit into the market as a competitor,” Hamilton said. “I knew with my knowledge of the vendors in the space and the understanding of the sales market around cleaning supplies I would find my new home at a place like Zogics.”

Hamilton, in his previous role as Sr Analyst & Category Experience at Home Depot, managed the full web experience, meeting KPIs for Homedepot.com, focused on Outdoor Power Equipment. Prior to that, Hamilton served as Associate Category manager for Home Depot Pro and the newly acquired HDSupply, Home Depot’s division that serves professional contractors.

At Zogics, Hamilton will be responsible for the purchasing, planning, and inventory management of Zogics 1 million + products, including key brands and inventory-centric accounts, driving the business through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, actionable reporting, and insightful analysis. He will lead the merchandise planning process, analyzing current business trends, market data, and historical data, and recommending strategies, course corrections, and improvements based on these assessments.  He will also manage the procurement, merchandising, and inventory management for Zogics' sister company, Ardent Fitness, which designs, outfits, installs, and services fitness equipment and fitness spaces for multifamily housing, colleges and universities, gyms, corporate wellness centers and more nationwide.

Hamilton and his family reside in Jacksonville, Florida, expanding Zogics' work-from-anywhere footprint which represents nearly one-third of the current staff. As a WFA company, the addition of Hamilton to the company reflects Zogics' ability to source top talent from anywhere in the country.
